Extensive interviews were conducted with both former ASA staff and passengers. These stories provide many interesting oral history stories of travel in South Australia between 1960 and 1986.

A background on the development of aviation in SA is provided along with a history of Guinea Airways (mainland operations) the predecessor of ASA’.
